About Byrdock

Other than most gadget company’s from today, Byrdock is not a fancy startup with a lot of funding, a hip team and a charming introduction video on Kickstarter.
Byrdock is just me, Elias – a photographer and filmmaker from Berlin with a small idea and a humble vision.

 

Byrdock is basically a one-man Business. I do everything myself. From the product development over the packaging design to customer care. So please forgive me if the homepage is a little laggy or buggy and you might have to wait on an answer for a couple of days – 6 months from now I didn’t even know what Woo-commerce is.  But I promise I will grow with my idea. My only and most important partner is Gate56 who is respomnsible for my fulfillment – since I travel a lot I partnered up a reliable partner to send out all orders on time.

 

Why did I create Byrdock?

Since I travel a lot for my jobs i am triyng to use most spare time like sitting on the plane to finish my projects. I also have to bring a ton of external hard drives for backup reasons to my job sights. So I always was wondering how to secure my hard drives. My Laptop is always on the move, and we all know that one problem, the wrong move can disconnect your drive and in the worst case even damage your data. So I tried to find a solution, which is strong, reliable and sell for a decent prize.  There are more products on the way.
